Overview:

ConGlobal is looking for a Senior Field Technician to help us scale our technology operations. As a member of our Implementation and Deployment Services Team, you will be integrally involved Deploying and Supporting our cutting-edge Technology Systems.

As a Senior Field Technician, you will serve our internal and external customers by installing, commissioning, and supporting our Advanced Solutions Technology Systems.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly Achieve Technical Proficiency of all ConGlobal Advanced Solutions for Installation, Implementation, Deployment, Testing Trouble Shooting, Servicing and Supporting
  • Install, Deploy, and Commission new automated systems per project plans, working closely with ConGlobal Project Manager and Customer site personnel.
  • Manage field team and activities, leading and training new team members.
  • Communicate with clients to explain complex issues, when required
  • Install and supervise the installation of conduit, control cabinets, control boxes, mounting brackets and various devices including cameras, gate arms, traffic lights, sensors, servers and related equipment, bracketry.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, electrical, electronic, computer and hardware problems as they arise.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools as required.
  • Pull, route, or label CAT5, CAT6 cable and other wiring, cabling.
  • Repair related poles and towers to resolve cable issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly
  • Positive Customer Interactions.
  • Timely submittal of reports, and expenses.
  • Always pursue the lowest cost way to effectively run the business and schedule travel.
  • Implement engineering changes as required.
  • Draft and submit internal facing reports.

  • Record data as required by development engineers.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of applicable field experience
  • 5+ years of applicable field experience leading a team
  • Extensive knowledge and utilization of hand tools and power tools
  • Expertise in pulling, routing, labeling and terminating CAT5, CAT6 cables, COAX cable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and willingness to learn various business computer systems as required.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and grow while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Authorized to work in the USA without Visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have:

  • Technical Degree in a related field
  • Previous experience field installing, deploying, repairing equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cabling
  • Background in IT networking
  • Experience and/or understanding of Technology Systems and Componentry.
  • Experience and/or understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Working Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledgeable of NEC guidelines
  • Experience and certification for operating equipment IE: scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts

Travel: Willingness and Ability to travel 75+ % of time
