OverviewReference APC32 Salary $55,000 - $65,000/annum Job Location - United States -- New Jersey -- Audubon Job Type Permanent Posted 04 November 2024ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK - $55,000-65,000 - AUDUBON, NJCompany & Description:Nationwide Housing Management is a property management company based in Audubon, NJ with properties in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. We are seeking an accounts payable clerk with experience in multi-company organizations to process invoices, maintain vendor files, and report directly to the Accounts Manager.Responsibilities:
  • Enter vendor bills timely and accurately
  • Pay all bills as directed by senior management
  • Payment processing - preparing weekly payment batches accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with purchasing policies and procedures
  • Maintain schedules to track and ensure vendors are paid on time
  • Contacting vendors to obtain necessary documents for invoices such as W9's, banking details, and insurance certificates
  • Reconciling and reviewing AP aging monthly, including following up to close any open AP invoices that are over a month old.
  • Updating, when necessary, vendor, merchant and/or vendor account information.
  • Maintaining organized AP documentation and support records / files.
  • Accurate processing of 1099s annually.
  • Assists the accounting departments with monthly close, as assigned and needed, including preparing journal entries, maintain working scheduled and reconciling accounts.
  • Deposits checks in accordance with cash receipt policies.
  • Assists in the preparation for annual audit and IRS Fillings.
  • Responds to customer concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Make and post bank deposits as necessary
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital vendor files
  • Track trends and isolate errors
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of two to three years related accounting experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
  • Strong math skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel
  • Experience with a multi-company organization and maintenance of multi-company books
  • Regular in-person attendance, 40hrs weekly Monday through Friday
