Description: Lamjen, Inc currently has openings for 1st and 2nd shift CNC Mill Operator Create a set up using machinist blocks, vises, hardware and fixturing Proficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges to ensure conformance of specified tolerances Proficient at performing in-process inspections at a machine and adjusting various offsets to ensure conformance of workpieces as required Position and secure workpieces on machines using measuring instruments, holding devices, hand tools, and cranes Study blueprints, lay outs, sketches, and work orders to determine tolerances and work procedures Proficient knowledge in general machining practices Ability to recognize tooling types and procedures for machining close tolerances Requirements: Proficient in reading and understanding documents, blueprints, basic GD&T and G-Code commands Knowledge of addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals and basic trigonometry Proficient knowledge of CNC controls and G-Code programming Ability to adjust/set tool lengths, set work offsets, and make adjustments within a program Minimum of 5 years experience in CNC operation/ schooling Crane experience About Us Lamjen, Inc is a precision CNC machining company specializing in low- and high-volume production runs of specialty machined components.
