Location: Westchester County

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Surgical Scheduling Supervisor in supporting the Surgical Schedulers to include training, and mentoring
  • Effectively communicate and ensure compliance of all related CAREMOUNT MEDICAL policies and assists in establishing workflows to ensure we meet the Business, Physician and patient needs
  • Supports the staff with coverage, guidance, and direction to ensure positive outcomes. Answer questions as needed from Surgical Schedulers and Financial Coordinators
  • Ensure Surgical Schedulers and Financial Coordinators maintain a steady workflow and delegate support as needed
  • Meet weekly with Supervisor to report updates on staff and office performance
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, co-workers, Management Staff, and Physicians
  • Work effectively and cooperatively as a team member, balancing both the support of the physician(s) and following the financial policies established by CAREMOUNT MEDICAL
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and actions with patients, staff, Physicians and Administrators at all times
  • Ensures quality Customer Service is provided to patients and visitors courteously and promptly by staff
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of scheduling experience in a medical practice environment
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Team lead or leadership experience in previous roles
  • 3+ years of scheduling experience in a medical practice environment

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour.
