*OBJECTIVE:*Responsible for the medical care of LSCC patients by providing comprehensive out-patient primary care. Nurse Practitioners are responsible for upholding the values and mission statement of LSCC and will conduct themselves as senior level, full time professional employees of the organization. Under the direction of the Medical Director, delivers primary care commensurate with training to patients of LSCC. Delivers care appropriate for an out-patient, primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population.*RESPONSIBILITIES: **Daily Job Duties:*· Provides examines, diagnoses and treats patients of the age group appropriate to clinic/service line assignment and provider's certification/privileges· Complete medical charts after each visit in the electronic medical records system· Applies for and obtains staff privileges at community hospitals in the area as recommended/required by LSCC· Provide quality medical care according to (disease) guidelines, standards and policies established by LSCC· Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and participate on task forces or committees, when necessary and as required· All other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Medical Director*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:*· Current Registered Nurse and Advance Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas· DEA as required by Service line· Nurse Practitioner Board Certification· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)· DEA as required by Service line· Maintain continuing education as required by licensing and any applicable accrediting boards, maintenance of certification if applicable, and completes additional educational units as required by LSCC (e.g., risk management courses).· Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience*PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:*· Two (2) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare clinical setting Family Medicine preferred· Previous work and proficiency using electronic medical records (EMR)· Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)· Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are preferred but not requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $105,564.00 - $133,191.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Continuing education credits* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Loan repayment program* Malpractice insurance* Paid time off* Relocation assistance* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Primary CareSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunitiesLicense/Certification:* Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Taylor, TX 76574 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Taylor, TX 76574: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
