We are currently searching for an experienced CADD Technician (Structural) to support our East Gulf Region located in Mobile, AL. What you'll be doing:
- Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings
- Utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge to aid in the plan preparation
- Work closely with engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated design systems, compile data, and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
- Implementation of CADD standards and familiarity of workspaces related to local agencies and municipal clients and preparation of plans in accordance with these standards
- Bridge replacements and bridge rehabilitation projects
- Ability to assist IT staff as needed with CADD application desktop support as well as plotting and other plan delivery support is desired
What you need to have:
- BS or Associate degree with 1-5 years CAD experience with transportation and highway bridge design
- An understanding of Windows Network and ProjectWise Cloud based network operations, environments and libraries required for the support of theses platforms
- Proficiency with Microstation or related software
- Experience in Geopak and/or InRoads is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
