We are currently searching for an experienced CADD Technician (Structural) to support our East Gulf Region located in Mobile, AL. What you'll be doing:
  • Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings
  • Utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge to aid in the plan preparation
  • Work closely with engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated design systems, compile data, and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
  • Implementation of CADD standards and familiarity of workspaces related to local agencies and municipal clients and preparation of plans in accordance with these standards
  • Bridge replacements and bridge rehabilitation projects
  • Ability to assist IT staff as needed with CADD application desktop support as well as plotting and other plan delivery support is desired
What you need to have:
  • BS or Associate degree with 1-5 years CAD experience with transportation and highway bridge design
  • An understanding of Windows Network and ProjectWise Cloud based network operations, environments and libraries required for the support of theses platforms
  • Proficiency with Microstation or related software
  • Experience in Geopak and/or InRoads is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
