Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Location: Manhattan, NY Pay Rate: $55 - $57/hour Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM Department: Medical Surgical Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Provide direct care to pre- and post-surgery patients
- Administer medications, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Adjust and interpret specialized medical equipment and measurements
- Monitor patient vitals and report any adverse reactions to medications
- Collaborate with the team on discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-care
- Maintain and update patient records and charts
- Adhere to best practices and nursing standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- Valid NY RN License
