Nurses in this unit are highly skilled to care for patients with substance abuse, mental illness and a multiplicity of medical diagnoses. Offers the opportunity to master skills in caring for patients which include and are not limited to: cardiac requiring telemetry, diabetes, kidney disease, Dialysis, pulmonary issues, and patient with multiple drips, drains & catheters. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience
- One year of LPN Med/Surg experience required
- Epic EMR two years of experience
License/Registration/Certification
- Active unencumbered New York LPN License
- ACLS/BLS - American Heart Association
- PALS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
