Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Shipping/Receiving Clerk I in Lampasas, TX to verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pull parts according to purchase order, packing list, or sales order.
  • Box parts per purchase order, packing list, or sales order.
  • Package and label products per sales order or traveler.
  • Maintain warehouse work area.
  • Loads and /or unloads trucks as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Entry level.
  • Good driving record
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills, able to follow verbal and written directions and procedures.
  • Basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to follow safe work practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees
