Ingram Industries is looking for an experienced Timekeeping System Specialist in our Nashville, TN location. In this role you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our time tracking system. Responsibilities include supporting the entire lifecycle of time and attendance processes, ongoing configuration maintenance, and providing support to the team. This position is crucial in maximizing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Serving as backup to the Timekeeping System Administrator
  • Supporting and maintaining the Time & Attendance system application, including functional and integration testing, and ongoing system upkeep.
  • Under the guidance of the Timekeeping System Administrator, master the setup and configuration of the CRT.
  • Supporting the biweekly close of the time collection system, including processing sign-offs and enabling edits.
  • Assisting with Time & Attendance application setup to support business needs.
  • Ensuring all updates are thoroughly tested and validated through the PeopleSoft Pay Update process.
  • Providing support for system modification proposals, enhancements, and the implementation of innovative technology solutions.
  • Maintaining system reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creating training materials to assist users with the time collection system.
  • Conducting training sessions and provide education on the time collection system as needed.
  • Assisting Payroll Team members, Human Resources, and end users with time collection system questions and issues.
  • Performing system analysis to address problems or issues related to the automated Time & Attendance system
  • Performing other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Associates degree required. CPP preferred.
  • Requires 2-4 years' experience with Time and Attendance system configuration or a technical background.
  • Requires an understanding of federal, state, and local regulations as it relates to timekeeping and payroll.
  • Must be able to manage PeopleSoft and KRONOS system access remotely (as needed).
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and advanced computer skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to work in team-oriented setting.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must maintain complete confidentiality.
