Job Summary
Canteen is searching for a Full-Time Wellness Assistant at BMW in Greer, SC to assist our corporate dietitian with menu labeling, employee training and event planning.
Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create menu offerings that adhere to the UK Food Standards Agency's Traffic Light Labeling System for nutrient standards.
+ Educate and train staff on general food knowledge, food allergy management, customer service, and waste reduction.
+ Perform monthly recipe audits to verify nutritional accuracy.
+ Engage in monthly wellness promotions and Teaching Kitchens.
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant food safety and nutrition regulations.
+ Assess and adjust dietary programs to enhance their effectiveness.
+ Advise customers on healthier menu options.
+ Keep detailed records of menu offerings and sales of healthy food items.
+ Stay informed about the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in nutrition and/or dietetics or actively pursing a degree in this area required
+ One (1) year of food service experience, preferred
+ Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
