Consider joining the Duke Energy team, where you'll find a friendly work environment, opportunities for growth and development, recognition for your work, and competitive pay and benefits.THIS POSITION IS FOR TEMPORARY WORK AND OUTAGE WORK.Job Responsibilities* Request and accept LOTO and/or PLOTO* Create Work Orders in the Maximo work management system to correct identified deficiencies* Perform equipment rounds as designated by Duke Energy to identify deficiencies and provide documentation of same* Receive limestone deliveries* Stock out limestone via Limestone Tripper Car* Relocate limestone loads inside Limestone Storage as needed* Bunker Limestone using the Portal Reclaimer or Emergency Reclaimer* Dump L5 Metal Detector collection bin as needed* Walk down all conveyors daily while belts are operating to identify deficiencies* Monitor all conveyor terminal points daily while belts are operating to identify deficiencies* Clear chute plugs* Clear plugs on Limestone Conveyor Dust Collector* Operate and/or check limestone/ gypsum conveyors as directed by Station Operations* Operate G6 Radial Stacker when gypsum is routed to the Gypsum Storage PadOperate the four emergency sump pumps as needed* One sump at Gypsum Storage Pad* One sump at the Crusher House* Two sumps at Limestone Storage ShedEquipment Cleaning/ Lubrication* Perform all lubrication and cleaning activities associated with LlA and LlB Truck Unloaders* Perform cleaning on Limestone Tripper Car, pulleys, and tripper car rails* Maintain oil level in the Limestone Reclaimer drag chain reservoirHousekeeping* Housekeeping includes cleaning up all trash, dusting, sweeping, washing, emptying trash cans, shoveling, operating a Bob Cat/ Skid Steer, using a vacuum truck (provided by DE), etc.* Prep and paint equipment as directed* Clean Unit 4 and 5 SCR/FGD Electrical Rooms weekly* Clean Ox Air Building weekly* Clean Gypsum Dewatering Building weekly* Clean all sumps as needed* Clean roof on Muster Room as needed* Clean and wash Tank Farm Trenches as needed* Clean and wash Limestone Storage Area and associated trenches as needed* Clean and wash underneath Gypsum Dewatering Belts as needed* Clean and wash Gypsum Dewatering Trenches as needed* Clean Limestone Prep area trenches and ground floor as needed* Clean and wash Unit 4 and 5 Absorber Trenches and ground floor as needed* Clean and wash Classifier Floor as needed* Clean top of Surge Bin inside crusher building as needed* Clean and wash the bottom floor of Crusher Building as needed* Clean up spills and accumulated dust from Limestone/ Gypsum trucks* Clean up spills from Limestone/ Gypsum conveyors, counterweights, transfer points, transfer towers, etc.* Clean G6 Radial Stacker as needed* Clean Unit 4 and 5 Limestone run off catch basins as needed* Clean ditch under G2 Conveyor as needed* Clean ditch under G3 Conveyor as needed* Clean ditch under G6 Conveyor as neededEducation:* High School Diploma* GED EquivalentWorking Conditions* Onsite Mobility Classification - Work will be performed at a company facilityTravel Requirements5-15%Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable)NoRepresented/Union PositionMain IBEW Florida UnionVisa Sponsored PositionNoPosting Expiration DateFriday, December 20, 2024All job postings expire at 12:01 AM on the posting expiration date.Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must possess all of the basic/required qualifications.PrivacyDo Not Sell My Personal Information (CA)Terms of UseAccessibility
