Role Overview We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our customers team in Salisbury, MD. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse functions, including Packaging, Picking, Inbound Receiving, Inbound and Outbound Quality Inspection, and Shipping. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all aspects of warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities
- Packaging:
- Package and process accepted products with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Prioritize the packaging of back ordered products.
- Assist with the disposition of new inbound products.
- Picking:
- Pick products for order fulfillment while ensuring accurate counts and package integrity.
- Re-stock inventory as needed.
- Support receiving operations for new inbound products.
- Inbound Receiving:
- Receive and process incoming shipments into inventory.
- Verify that all purchased products meet specified requirements before acceptance.
- Organize daily receipts and assist with transfers, work orders, and rework tasks.
- Quality Inspection:
- Outbound: Verify product accuracy, labels, and condition against pick tickets.
- Inbound: Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and display inspection status.
- Shipping:
- Process completed pick tickets and confirm shipments are sent to the correct locations.
- Monitor shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior warehouse operations experience preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (High School Diploma or equivalent required).
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Additional Information
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
