Compensation Range
Hourly: $23.20 - $39.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth implementations of all Commercial Payment – Commercial Card Products. The Implementation Specialist – Commercial Card is responsible for the onboarding of clients post sales. They will act as a single point of contact, working as a consultant to the clients to ensure that our products and solutions meet the clients' program goals while complementing their business systems, operations, and workflows. In this capacity, the position will work closely with the C-Level, Payments Manager IT Manager, and Project Team, as well as with Sales, Account Management, Tech and other internal teams. They have a responsibility to ensure products are appropriately described, presented, and implemented to meet client satisfaction by delivering on our Customer Promise to ASK, LISTEN and SOLVE.
Essential Function
Develop client project plans to meet clients commitments and goals
Provide ownership and coordination of the implementation process
Hold regular and ad-hoc meetings/calls with internal teams and customers, including requirement gathering meetings, recurring calls, supplier analysis review, days to first transaction and other related program goals
Track and report on project progress with the ability to collaboratively escalate and resolve obstacles to meet project and program commitments
Proactively handoff Account Management teams to transition accounts after they have been successfully implemented to the respective portfolio
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong understanding of NACHA and/or Visa/MasterCard Operating Rules, regulations and interchange requirements as well as various modes of processing
Strong understanding of contract language
Intermediate knowledge of commercial or consumer credit
Ability to learn products and services offered by Commerce Bank
Excellent sales and presentation skills
Ability to travel as needed to conduct in person client meetings
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
4+ years commercial or merchant bankcard experience in the areas of implementation, project management, sales or portfolio management required
5+ years business to business sales or support experience preferred
Experience with salesforce.com preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $23.20 to $39.90 per hour. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
