These programs include substance abuse treatment centers for women with children, emergency shelters for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking and a short-term housing program for individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders. This position provides supervision and support to residents at their assigned location as part of the 24-hour direct care staff team in 6 residential programs. Compensation: $25.00 per hourWork Schedule: Monday though Sunday, evening and overnight assistance availableMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Service field, and two years direct care experience in Human Services preferred; or equivalent employment experience may be considered
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • *Provides supervision and support for program participants as a part of residential program staffing for 24 hour per day, 7 day per week schedule.
  • *Responds to all crisis calls, assesses situation, gathers information and provides appropriate and accurate referrals and information, maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • *Assist with meeting basic needs in several residential programs; including assistance with developing and revising an ongoing safety plan, and connecting to medical, therapeutic, or other provides as identified through the intake and assessment process.
  • *Provide client transportation in personal and agency vehicles.
  • *Follow program policies and procedures; including agency protocols related to medication administration.
  • *Documents client activity, progress and needs per established record keeping procedures.
  • *Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of facility, including monitoring residents' activities.
  • Works as a team member with other program staff to provide trauma-informed care to clients.
  • *Always displays a courteous and caring attitude to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • *Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Maintains required records and statistical information.
  • *Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • *Creates, maintains, and shares an appropriate and dynamic self-care plan.
  • *Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.
