Description SCOPE OF POSITION:Performs all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations within approved guidelines and as directed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices.
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, and calibration of highly technical equipment that may contain PID loop control, digital and analog inputs and outputs, and flame control technologies throughout the property as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Ensures adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
- Adheres to the company's standards ensuring daily work and special projects are completed in an efficient and professional manner, abiding by local, and other applicable codes.
- Utilizes the maintenance management software to log time and materials on jobs. Closes job when work is completed.
- Maintains certification as required for operation of all company equipment and vehicles.
- Conducts predictive / preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
- Develops parts matrixes and generates parts order data.
- Supports other Facilities Department Team Members with various maintenance issues as needed.
- Completes all required computer data input / paperwork as required in a timely manner.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record as outlined in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy.

Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.High School diploma or GED. Three years of work experience as an equipment repair technician, or equivalent training and experience. Possess the ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and fluid diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical and electronic commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. Ability to use and understand various test equipment such as DVM, pressure, resistance, and current meters. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under FireKeepers Casino Hotel insurance. Must be at least 18 years of age.GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPC / PLC control troubleshooting and repair. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and statistical inference.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
