The RN is responsible for administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Key Responsibilities:Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient careAdministering medications and treatments as prescribedMonitoring and interpreting patient vital signs and other diagnostic testsCollaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plansEducating patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and discharge planningMaintaining accurate and detailed patient recordsResponding to emergency situations and resuscitating patients as neededQualifications:Current state nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN)Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferredAt least 2 years of recent experience in a Med-Surg Telemetry unitStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamKnowledge of healthcare technology and medical equipmentCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationWorking in a Med-Surg Telemetry unit can be both challenging and rewarding.
