Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit subjects for research
- Provides programmatic, data management, and research study support.
- Assists community program staff and clinical partner organizations coordinate a study of a patient education course and related research activities.
- Conducts literature reviews, carries out educational health intervention protocols.
- Assists with computer aided survey implementation and supports human subjects protection documentation and reporting.
- Facilitates interviews and meetings for project activities.
- Ensures intervention logistics are implemented properly.
- Assists in the collection and management of project related data.
- Provides support preparing educational and dissemination materials for clinical providers, health administrators, and lay persons.
- Aids in developing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Serves as liaison for key function areas including interfacing with clinics and hospitals, Health Information Technology and Bio-medical Informatics, Inter-institutional Agreements and MOUs, research site liaison to ensure intervention logistics are implemented properly.
- Serving as administrative liaison with interfacing with CDU OSP.
- Supporting database creation and management for partnered analysis, developing research briefs and dissemination products.
- May need to travel locally to offsite locations to meet with community partners and clinical site collaborators.

Qualifications/Requirements:EDUCATION:
- Regionally accredited bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance required
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years related experience.
- Familiar with public health research and a clear understanding of the research process acquired practical experience.
- Proficient written and verbal Spanish communication skills are required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated knowledge of conducting literature searches on Medline; reviewing and summarizing research articles.
- Working knowledge of developing agreements and protocols for research partnerships.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and also as part of a team and establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, clinicians, peers, and the public.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of subject, medical and research records.
- Demonstrated quantitative/qualitative analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with individuals from different backgrounds/organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work hours required for study conduct.
- PC proficient. Ability to utilize MS Office platform
