Packaging Tech IIJob Location: Stuttgart Rice Division Stuttgart, AR.M-F 3p-11p with some extended daily hours and weekend work possible.Hours worked from 5pm - 6am Monday - Thursday will receive a 15% shift premium. All hours worked Friday 5pm - Monday 6am will receive a 15% shift premium. Company Mission StatementRiceland, a farmer owned cooperative, helps farmers feed the world, sustainably.Job Description Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair packaging equipment, case and bale packers, bag sewing equipment, palletizers and conveying equipment, including motor controls and electronics circuits.Job Duties•All duties of Packaging Technician I & Packaging Technician II•Make needed repairs to any and all production and conveying equipment in either the Packaging or Bag Sewing departments.•Work closely with service technicians, equipment installers and contractors in a professional manner.•Order parts and monitor/control the inventory of parts and tools.•Provide guidance and instruction to Packaging Technician I as needed.•Report all equipment problems to supervisor or department manager.•Be able to be contacted for on-call work to assist when needed after hours and on the weekends.•Follow all safety rules, GMP's and HARPC procedures when performing maintenance tasks.•All other jobs as assigned by supervisor.Requirements•1-2 years of related work experience or a 2-year degree in Electronics Technology.•Ability to perform all the duties of Packaging Technician I.•Understanding of hand tools, electronics diagnostic instruments, and electronic circuitry. •Ability to work from equipment manuals and blue prints.•Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers packaging, processing, and conveying equipment.•Must be able to work at heights of 30 feet or more.•Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in tight spaces, climb ladders, ride man-lift vertical belt conveyor.•Must be able to left 100 lbs.•Must be able to drive industrial vehicles.Company Benefits and Incentives•Medical insurance with low premiums•Free dental with medical insurance enrollment•Vision insurance with low premiums•Free basic life insurance, up to 3x basic annual earnings•Voluntary term life (rates depends on the age and salary of the employee)•Long term disability•Free short-term disability•Accident insurance, for unexpected healthcare expenses due to accidents•Critical illness insurance•Employee assistance program through Lincoln Financial•401K with company match 4% of an employee's 5% •Paid training programs.
