We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThe Safety Analyst will be responsible for assessing, analyzing and implementing safety protocols, procedures and initiatives to minimize workplace risks and ensures compliance with OSHA, state and local regulations. They'll conduct safety audits and inspections and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve overall safety performance, track and maintain accident and injury reports and data, and audit chemical inventory list and safety data sheets. They will also assist with accident and injury investigations and coordinate with facility maintenance and conduct facility audits.Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential workplace hazards, evaluate associated risks, and assist with strategies to minimize them
  • Incident Investigation: Assist the investigation into workplace incidents, accidents or near misses to determine root causes and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences
  • Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits on personnel and equipment to assess compliance with safety standards, identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze safety related data, statistics and trends to identify areas for improvement, prepare reports and make recommendations to management
  • Safety Culture Promotion: Collaborate with managers and supervisors to foster a positive safety culture by promoting awareness and participation in safety initiatives throughout the workplace
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant safety regulations, standards and industry best practices to ensure compliance
  • Additional Duties:
    • Conduct OSHA Monthly training within the departments
    • Issue citations for safety violations
    • Audit department safety data sheets to ensure they are current
  • Assist with distributing summer refreshments
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager

Education & Experience
  • Associate's Degree Required
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 1 - 2 Years of Direct Experience Required
    • 2 - 5 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
  • 2 Years of Experience of In-depth Knowledge of Local, State, and OSHA Regulations Required
  • State Issued Driver License Required
  • Forklift, First Aid/CPR, and/or OSHA Certifications Preferred
