Job Location : Wentworth,NC, USA
Reports to the Registrar/Director of Records and performs data entry functions for curriculum records. Duties include: printing transcripts; processing withdrawals, program changes, address changes, and enrollment verifications; assisting with data cleanup; answering emails/phone calls; scanning documents into Etrieve; and other projects as assigned by the Registrar. The position requires someone who is detail-oriented and can maintain confidentiality and security of records as well as work with minimal supervision.1. Printing and mailing transcripts.
2. Processing withdrawals, program changes, address changes, and enrollment verifications.
3. Assisting with data cleanup
4. Answering the records email and assisting with student inquiries by phone or in person.
5. Scanning documents into Etrieve.
6. Adhere to FERPA guidelines when communicating student record information and communicate FERPA guideline information as needed.
7. Assist with division campus-wide events such as graduation, registration events, etc.
8. As time permits and other appropriate needs arise, assist the Registrar/Director of Records with various projects
REQUIRED:
Associate's Degree
PREFERRED:
One year of previous clerical experience
Related experience in a community college or university setting
Experience with Colleague by Ellucian or similar student information system
* Demonstrate attention to detail.
* Good organizational and time management skills requiring minimal supervision.
* Pleasant personality and the ability to work well with others; team player; good communication skills and telephone manners.
* Understand how to apply FERPA regulations to business processes.
* Demonstrate strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
* Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills.
