Our operating unit encompasses nearly 1000 employees and provides a full range of engineering, construction management, and digital water services. With a focus on utility and transportation engineering, our clients include municipal, private, and U.S. federal entities.
The HR team is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to identify, assess and secure talent for Tetra Tech's current and future business needs, ultimately creating a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The successful candidate will manage the full life cycle recruiting process for engineering professionals within all levels of our organization. Your Role:
* Partner with Hiring Managers and HR team to identify and implement effective recruitment strategies, metrics, and activity tracking that support hiring initiatives with clear, defined goals and outcomes.
* Work closely with stakeholders to streamline the recruiting process; set expectations for participation and share best practices to drive consistency across the operating unit.
* Source passive candidates through networking, social media, internet research, and other creative methods while cultivating relationships with appropriate candidates in the candidate pool.
* Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruitment process; including building partnership with diverse associations to expand talent pipelines.
* Mange the entire recruitment process from sourcing applicants and screening resumes to scheduling interviews and closing candidates.
* Provide an outstanding candidate experience through proactive communication and timely feedback.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients to ensure staffing needs are consistently met.
* Manage recruiting and candidate data electronically to ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal clients.
* Leverage market data and trends to identify opportunities and adapt strategies to address business needs in a fast-paced environment.
* Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to post jobs, manage candidate status throughout the process, and ensure compliance with Talent Acquisition workflows.,
* Stay up to date with innovative recruitment tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
* Represent the organization at job fairs and career events to build brand awareness and expand talent pipelines.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent recruiting experience. HR or Business degree preferred.
* 5+ years of proven work experience as a Recruiter in a corporate environment.
* Demonstrated success recruiting all level (entry/mid/senior) professionals within the Engineering vertical.
* Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required; Taleo experience preferred.
* Experience with interviews, including candidate screening, evaluation, scheduling, and active participation in interview processes.
* Proven ability to attract and recruit diverse individuals.
* Skilled in sourcing both active and passive talent using innovative methods.
* Proven ability of managing the entire recruitment lifecycle to secure top talent.
* Independent worker, self-starter, detail oriented and data-driven, team player, analytical with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously.
* Ability to partner, consult, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
* Customer centric focus on the hiring manager, candidate, and customer experience.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and demonstrated proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn.
* Ability to quickly assess candidate's skills, qualifications and attributes and make hiring recommendations.
* Experience in utilizing various sourcing methods to recruit for challenging roles.
* Strategic, forward-thinking, and solution oriented.
* Strong decision-making skills.
* Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience handling sensitive/confidential information.
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS office suite; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
* Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.
