Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is hiring a Human Resources Program Analyst to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Dam Neck Activity (DNA) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. NSWCDD DNA requires on-site support to Recruiting and Student Outreach to support and enhance recruitment, staffing, and student programs through process improvements, database management, event coordination, transcript evaluation, and expert HR support for candidates and employees. Responsibilities
- Provide Expertise in Staffing and Recruitment:
- Leverage deep knowledge of staffing, recruitment, and student program processes to support Human Resource Office efforts effectively.
- Apply expertise in advertising strategies and industry best practices to optimize recruitment campaigns.
- Enhance Recruiting and Student Program Efficiency:
- Drive process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting and student program administration for NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity.
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Optimize Student Program Data Management:
- Maintain and improve the NSWCDD student program database, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility to support strategic decision-making.
- Support Transcript Evaluation and Data Management:
- Oversee the evaluation and organization of college transcripts and related data to align with NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity recruiting objectives.
- Strengthen HR Recruitment and Placement Processes:
- Manage critical recruitment processes, including document preparation, database maintenance, and providing clear human resources guidance to candidates and employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate support for in-service placement processes.
- Coordinate Virtual Recruiting Events:
- Manage recruiter accounts and event schedules to facilitate seamless virtual recruiting events.
- Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure successful engagement with potential candidates.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active DoD-issued Interim-Secret (or higher) security clearance
- Associate's Degree in Human Resources or related business field or three plus years of work-related experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing HR recruiting and outreach programs
- Working knowledge of Navy Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP)
