- Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows that enhance the efficiency and quality of store results in collaboration with the senior store manager.
- Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
- Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
- Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
- Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
- Ability to make good hiring decisions while following the companies hiring process.
- Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.
- Develop a culture of goal attainment focused on the company's mission, vision, and values.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
- Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights. 45 pounds to be consistent with ASM requirement.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
