You deserve a job you love! Volt is immediately hiring a Package Operator with Semiconductor experience in Richardson, TX. As a Package Operator with Semiconductor experience you will: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Support manufacturing to produce semiconductor DBR laser diodes.
- Support the continuous flow of production and minimize the cycle time in the Packaging area.
- Support the implementation of methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
- Support the aggressive timeline to meet or exceed the new product development goal.
- Support yield and performance improvements for the existing and new devices.
- Support and help maintain all Packaging documentation.
This is a
full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: - Knowledge of semiconductor packaging processes such as dicing, cleaving, die-attach and wire bonding, seam sealing and fiber optic coupling and associated semi-automatic and fully automatic machines.
- Knowledge of packaging materials like epoxies, solders and packages including those used for photonics (laser diode) packaging.
- Basic understanding of material properties of packaging materials such as thermal conductivity, viscosity, outgassing, etc.
- Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving skills to resolve process, packaging and equipment issues in a timely manner to enable smooth functioning of production.
Salary: $22 to $24 an hour. Pay Rate: *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
