Job Summary: Skilled and detail-oriented Business Analytics Consultant with deep experience in the life sciences industry to provide advanced analytics, insights, and recommendations that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to understand data trends, a strong working knowledge of Xponent prescriber-level prescription data, and expertise in analyzing LAAD ( longitudinal access and adjudication data). This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret Xponent prescriber-level prescription data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Work with LAAD to assess patient journeys, prescription fulfillment, and payer dynamics.
- Deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, market access, and medical affairs.
- Partner with data science and IT teams to develop analytical models and dashboards
- Translate complex datasets into compelling narratives, visualizations, and presentations for business stakeholders.
- Support the development of data-driven strategies for product launches, market expansion, and portfolio optimization.
Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Expertise in working with Xponent prescriber-level prescription data and LAAD.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R.
- Understanding healthcare provider and payer ecosystems, including patient journeys and prescription workflows.
- Proven ability to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend strategies based on complex data analysis.
- Strong communication skills to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting commercial, market access, or medical affairs teams in life sciences.
- Knowledge of FAIR data principles and data governance best practices.
- Experience with real-world evidence (RWE) and healthcare claims data.
