Who is Senior Metal Bellows? Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Under direction and supervision, design, develop, set-up, and perform tests involving hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and sensing products and set-ups. Write detailed test procedures and reports, organize Engineering Test Lab, specify new test equipment and perform other Engineering duties as required. What are the key responsibilities?
Work from inquiries, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and written and verbal instructions to translate engineering goals into test requirements and procedures and to support multiple projects simultaneously. Review requirements and determine if testing will be done in-house or at an outside facility. Maintain liaison with any outside vendors and supervise testing. Provide systems and electro-mechanical engineering expertise for the design, fabrication, and assembly of test fixtures and equipment for testing and evaluation of components and assemblies. Requires knowledge of mechanisms, controls, and test protocols. Generate detailed test plans and procedures in accordance with the project's specifications and requirements. Documents are to be prepared to required levels, kept current, and submitted in accordance with project schedules. Testing may be destructive or non-destructive. Ensure that testing is in compliance with Test Plan or procedure. Provide technical direction to maintain test flow. Monitor Test Technicians and contractors. Evaluate test data and write detailed test reports and other test documents as required for both written and oral presentations. Detailed design and set-up of hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, mechanical, and environmental test setups to achieve required test conditions. Hands-on set up of tests to achieve required test conditions according to project scheduled. Determine and implement analog and/or digital, automatic and/or manual, and computer data acquisition to obtain specified test measurements and data to required accuracies. Maintain engineering lab; monitor tests in progress and ensure an adequate inventory of engineering lab supplies and material. What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?
