Job Description :

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for bid preparation through final client acceptance for the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes of work. Lead, coach, and mentor project team members.

Founded in 1970, my client is a Philadelphia based General Contractor that is recognized as a top GC in the area by the Philadelphia Business Journal and the GBCA. They boast a diverse project portfolio but specialize in the healthcare and higher education sectors.

Description

  • Effectively support assigned projects, performing all work activities per the construction responsibilities matrix from pre-construction through project close
  • Monitor and manage the submittal processes and activities
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Project planning, scheduling and coordination
  • Safety and quality control management
  • Accurate forecasting and management of budgets
  • Change order management
  • Managing critical subcontractors
  • Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management
  • Manage the BIM process and coordination

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 10 years construction experience, preferably experience with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor
  • Current driver's license
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
