What You Will Do:
Perform “First Piece” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
Perform “Final” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
Assist Product Group Line / Value Stream in quality problem resolution
Perform in-process audits throughout Product Group Line / Value Stream
Document all inspection and testing results
Maintain all document files and test records in accurate manner
Initiate non-conformance report and assist in corrective/preventive action report determination
Perform 100% inspection/sorting as required
Assist with writing and updating of inspection procedures and checklists
Support actively all H-F Continuous Improvement efforts
Verify with Gage Calibration that all inspection standards/gages are calibrated and kept up to date
Quality Inspector Position Details:
4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 3:00am (Must be able to train on 1st shift)

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.
1 years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good computer skills
Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Must know how to use and read Calipers, Depth Micrometers, Tenth Micrometers, Micrometers, Rulers, Spring Calipers and Telescope Gages
Must understand fractions/decimals
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Commitment to work overtime as needed
Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity
Mechanical aptitude desired
1 years of relevant experience
1 years' experience in industrial manufacturing environment
Experience in quality inspection
Conversion of fraction to decimals
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.
Stand for up to 8 hours or more.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.
Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
