Buena Vista University is seeking candidates for the position of Office and Data Coordinator to join our University Advancement team and serve an integral role in University Advancement's ability to achieve its objectives and goals. The Office and Data Coordinator will be responsible for high-level administrative support for the office, including working closely with program directors, development directors, and operations to coordinate event support, schedule meetings, assist with travel arrangements, and maintain database records. In addition, this person will ensure the accurate and timely entry of gifts received by the University into our fundraising system.
The Office and Data Coordinator will need to understand and interpret basic IRS and CASE standards to correctly receipt various types of gifts. This team member will confidentially handle sensitive information. Strong candidates will be self-starters with strong attention to detail and an eye for maintaining office organization, improving procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. An associate degree with three to five years of administrative or data entry experience is required.
