We have the knowledge, expertise, and resources necessary to get any job done safely and efficiently.Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:Dismantle and reassemble gasoline & diesel equipment using various hand tools and/or hoistsRepair & replace major components, damaged and warn partsClean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipmentDetermine nature and extent of equipment failuresIdentify required repair parts & suppliesDocument maintenance and repair work performedRecord parts and supply usageAgility to access and repair components on heavy equipmentAgility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladderAgility to walk and work on uneven surfacesAbility to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull and / or reach frequentlyAgility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feetEnsure the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the supervisorAbility to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditionsPerform safety sensitive tasksPerform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policiesRegular and Predictable PerformanceEducation/ Experience:Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent1-2 years experience repairing heavy equipmentJob Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Responsible and safety mindedAbility to trouble shoot & analyze equipment malfunctionKnowledge of the use of testing equipment, tools and gaugesBasic knowledge of electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsRead & implement mobile equipment maintenance manualsAbility to pass a DOT PhysicalCommercial Drivers' License or the ability to obtainAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSuccessful candidates have good organization skills, communicate effectively & have the ability to handle varied tasks at onceJob Title: Heavy Equipment MechanicLocation: Bethlehem, PAJob Type: Full-TimeTravel: 100%Salary: Hourly Range: $27.15 - $43.45 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.Brandenburg is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
