Apply today!Compensation for the Injection Molding Mold Cleaner\$19 Per HourMonday Thursday, 6 am 4:30 pmThis is an ongoing temporary position with the potential for hire for rock star employees.Responsibilities for the Injection Molding Mold CleanerAssist machinists by disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling injection molding tools/molds with high precision.Troubleshoot tooling issues, perform minor repairs, make configuration changes, and replace tooling components as needed.Clean and inspect mold components for wear and damage, ensuring thorough disassembly and reassembly.Fit and assemble component parts into mold cavities, ensuring proper dimensions, alignment, and clearance.Help develop preventative maintenance plans for new molds.Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure mold components meet specified tolerances.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Operate various shop machinery, including grinders, drills, mills, lathes, and hand tools to perform mold repairs.Work closely with molding operators to ensure efficient operations and timely repairs.Maintain professional demeanor and a positive \ can-do\ attitude.Track and document value engineering metrics for cost savings and product value improvements.Monitor mold usage and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs, maintaining clean equipment and workspaces.Other duties as assigned.Requirements for the Injection Molding Mold CleanerMinimum 3 years of hands-on technical experience with a proven track record.High school diploma or GED.Preferred experience with set-up and/or programming of manual lathes, mills, or surface grinders.Prior experience in the repair and maintenance of injection molds is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.Experience with CNC equipment set-up, including castings, forgings, fixtures, and tooling.Ability to take direction and perform tasks efficiently.Comfortable operating machines for up to 10 hours, standing or sitting.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all team members.Positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative work environment.High integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency.Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift more than 100 lbs.Seem like a good fit?
