Position: Construction Compliance Coordinator Reports to: Safety Manager Location: Columbus, OH Salary Range: $28 - $35 per hour We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates, such as market location, experience, skills, and education. The Superior Group is looking for a Construction Compliance Coordinator to maintain all PPE and documentation onsite, develop forms and documentation, administer safety rewards, maintain training records onsite, and provide training as required. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus, OH and will report into the Site Safety Manager. Key Responsibilities Build working relationships with project staff and other Safety representatives Support Site Safety Manager in building a cohesive safety team and safety program Create, maintain, and update documentation and forms Assist with training, as needed Assist with new Safety Professionals and new hire onboarding Distributes, maintains, and tracks daily/weekly Safety documentation Attend meetings with project staff, as required, and provide input on safety of project Create and distribute site specific Toolbox Talks Review all safety documentation for accuracy and completeness Collaborate with safety team on training programs and initiatives to grow safety culture onsite Collaborates with Field Operations team members on various Safety initiatives Train onsite to be a field safety professional, when needed Organize PPE in multiple locations onsite Assist with implementation of safety rewards programs Create safety reports for the project Evaluate training needs and ensure TSG crews are registered for trainings Communicate effectively and calmly under pressure Your Character Traits You're passionate about all-things safety You have a strong attention to detail You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills You're a natural at conflict resolution and are calm under pressure You're able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information Your Expertise You have 3 years of construction experience 2 year degree in Construction Safety is a plus A minimum of OSHA 30-hour training, FIRSTAid/CPR/BBP and AED training Knowledgeable in CFR 1926 or willingness to learn Our Benefits We offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of TSG.
