This role is pivotal in providing administrative support to our sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a temporary-to-hire position located near Clifton Park, NY.Responsibilities of the Customer Support Specialist will include:
- Accurately process customer orders received via email or phone, verifying lead times, pricing, and committed ship dates.
- Set up and onboard new customer accounts while maintaining accurate records.
- Actively communicate with customers to address inquiries, obtain missing information, and keep them informed on order statuses.
- Manage CRM data, including lead, account, contact, and opportunity entries, to support the sales team.
- Take ownership of the Pending Order Tracker system to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
- Collaborate with customers to adjust order quantities, delivery dates, and resolve past-due orders with recovery plans.
- Assist with field claims by entering data into the RMA tracker and serving as a backup for the primary process.
- Provide feedback from customer interactions to Sales and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about new products and features to enhance customer support and industry knowledge.
