This position provides support to the Finance Director and Controller with a concentration on detailed and complex tasks including research and financial analysis. Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for downloading data from Geographic Area Office's general ledger (Quickbooks) on a monthly basis to Intacct/general ledger.
- Weekly calculation of Chapter Event payments in Network For Good database.
- Quarterly upload of endowment transactions and allocation of investment return in Endowment Manager database. Includes reconciliation between Endowment Manager and Intacct.
- Annual calculation of Spending Rate using Endowment Manager.
- Liaison between Hadassah Medical Organization and Freight Forwarder for the purchase and shipment of medical equipment and supplies to Israel.
- Quarterly reporting to U.S. AID on the Ocean Freight Reimbursement Grant.
- Analysis of investment managers and recording of monthly activity in general ledger.
- Prepare annual report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts
- Answer requests for financial information for State Charitable Registration forms as well as outside reporting agencies (i.e. - Forbes, Crains, Non-Profit Times, etc.)
- Keep track of Foreign Expenses for Form 990.
- Provide monthly reports for reconciliation of outgoing wires/ACH transfers.
- Other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience
- BS or BA in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 3+ years of related job experience
- Excellent Excel skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
