Job DescriptionJoin a Leading Team as a Quality Assurance Inspector(Night Shift) Gpac is partnered with an incredible company that's looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their plastics manufacturing team. They're committed to delivering top-notch products that meet the highest standards for their customers, and this role is essential to that mission. What You'll Do:
  • Conduct daily quality checks to ensure products meet both company and customer standards.
  • Manage non-conforming ware, quarantine suspect/defective products, and communicate findings.
  • Collect, organize, and share quality data with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales teams as needed.
  • Report any GFSI or GMP concerns to ensure compliance with food safety practices.
  • Perform first-piece inspections, authorize production runs, and conduct raw material testing.
  • Train production employees on quality systems and reaction plans.
  • Use data collection systems to monitor product measurements and respond to alarms or warnings.
  • Create and use limit sample boards to guide product decisions.
  • Document shift activities and ensure seamless communication with the next shift.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • A high school diploma or GED (vocational training or an associate's degree is a plus).
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong skills in communication, computers, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Powered industrial truck operation experience is a plus.
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
