Job DetailsWe are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the commercial launch of ODRescue™ products. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and expanding market reach through various segments and distribution channels, including online resellers, retail, hospitality, transportation, and government. The manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure product availability and drive revenue growth and brand recognition. This position is ideal for a skilled sales and marketing professional passionate about improving public health and addressing the overdose crisis.About ODRescue:ODRescue™ is committed to combating the opioid crisis and supporting impacted communities, in line with our mission—Helping Healthcare Care®.Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years in business development, sales, or marketing with proven success in launching and distributing products across multiple channels.
Essential Functions:
  • Strategy Development: Create and execute a go-to-market strategy for ODRescue™ product launch across various distribution channels.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Brand Building: Develop marketing materials, campaigns, and presentations to drive brand recognition and trust.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows and events to network and explore business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Product Development, Purchasing, Distribution) to ensure successful product launch and customer
satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and update CRM with account information and pipeline status.
Skills:
  • Direct sales, develop partnerships, and distributor networks.
  • Ability to work independently, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Advanced negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to cold call, go after leads, and expand market.
  • Expertise in managing complex customer relationships and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to capture customer requirements and collaborate with support teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in direct sales, partnerships, and distributor networks.
  • Background in brand development and building brand recognition.
  • Experience with opioid abatement products, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Access for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for presentation development.
  • Salesforce CRM proficiency.
