This role involves approving vendor updates and payments and coordinating with other staff to ensure compliance with company policies and high-quality input to accounting software.Key Responsibilities- Review invoice approvals, payment methods, and related details to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.- Verify invoices and approve payments, ensuring all financial payments are completed in a timely manner.- Utilize bank platforms to approve and release payments, including internal and external wire transfers.- Approve vendor additions and updates, ensuring all vendor information is accurate and up to date.- Communicate discrepancies to accounts payable staff and verify corrections to maintain accurate records.- Oversee and manage compliance with state and federal regulations including 1099 reporting.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable procedures, and financial management.- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with Accounting team and other internal stakeholders.- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure.Responsibilities
