Description:National Park College is currently seeking part-time bus drivers. The bus driver is responsible for transporting the Nighthawk Athletics Teams to and from athletics events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Transport athletics teams to and from athletics events; some events are across state lines
- Ensure passenger safety at all times
- Be attentive to traffic and weather conditions
- Regularly check vehicle safety such as tires, brakes, turn signals, mechanical equipment, etc., and report needed maintenance to necessary department
- Monitor and report fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers
- Enforce conduct and safety rules on the bus
- Maintain a clean vehicle
- Flexible schedule
Preferred skills/abilities: - Good verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency using GPS devices or maps
Education and Experience: - High school diploma/GED preferred
- CDL License with passenger endorsement required
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver preferred
Physical Requirements: - Able to operate a school bus.
- Drive for long periods of time.
