Commercial Steel Stud Framer & Drywall Carpenter - Michigan Position Description:Â We are seeking construction employees in carpentry installation who specialize in drywall installation and drywall finishing, for a project based in Brimley, MI, with work starting mid-August of 2024.Wood, steel,drywall and metal framing constructionMetal truss installationUse and maintain hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power tools in a safe mannerPrepare drywall for finishingTape and finish drywallEnsures job site remains clean and orderlyBasic knowledge of tool and equipment safety, ability to identify and correct environmental or other workplace hazardsWillingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from project leaderExperience/Carpentry Technical Skills Required:Experience with hanging drywallAbility to lift heavy objects including ability to walk and stand for long periods of time while performing physical labor that is essential to completing the retail site or other commercial projectMust possess the skills to multi-task, work in a team setting, and meet deadlinesAbility to read and understand blueprints requiredForklift experience preferredA valid state driver's license is requiredConditions of Employment:Â Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.#J-18808-Ljbffr
