Job Description :
We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the corporate marketing and sales team to plan, support, and execute complex corporate meetings, lunch & learns, and special events. Qualified candidates must be highly detail organized, able to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time, and be able to quickly recognize, analyze, and solve problems.Essential Functions/ ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all logistics such as venue search, vendor procurement and management, contract negotiation, hotel accommodations, food and beverage service, meeting room setup, etc.Serve as a liaison between facilities and event participants as manager and host of event.Manage event calendar by working with marketing / sales teams on scheduling, collateral requests, and event messaging.Draft and send event communications to attendees.Support Tradeshow Manager and team as necessary.Administrative tasks as assigned.Considerable travel may be involved.Qualifications3 years of corporate event planning experienceAbility to quickly recognize, analyze, and solve problemsShows initiative and follow-through skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task to meet tight deadlinesEasily adapt to ever-changing circumstancesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with and email marketing software is a plusSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, English, public relations, or journalismExperience using email marketing automation tools (Pardot preferred)Excellent writing and editing skills - skills including graphic design is preferredStrong planning, organizational and presentation abilitiesAbility to work well multi-functionally across key communication teamsA foundational understanding of effective marketing techniquesExperience with sales-based emails and customer communicationAbility to think creatively and innovatively and easily adapt to changeThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.Physical DemandsN/APosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
