Job Description :
We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate should have engineering experience and a background with a degree in a relevant engineering field from a college or university.The role will require working within a cross-disciplinary team in a production environment to sustain our manufacturing efforts. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering, good design practices, and product lifecycle. Project involvement will be in a manufacturing environment engaging with floor supervisors, assembly team members, and engineers to identify and resolve issues.ResponsibilitiesMechanical build of custom panelsComponents installation - mechanical and electricalPoint to point wiringHarness assembly and testingEnsuring electrical system meets safety standardsDevelop and test control systems for electrical systemsObserve all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team membersMaintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Debugging and troubleshootingManage incoming support inquiries from our Ops Team.Balance incoming support requests and escalation while performing root cause analysisAssist in creating and maintaining process documentation and technical debtOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in electronics/electrical engineering, electrical technician, or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' experienceExperience with manufacturing processes - assembly, root cause analysisExperience with wire harness design and electrical architecture drawingsExperience with electrical debuggingFamiliar with low voltage AC/DC systems, power supplies, batteries, and control systemsUnderstands how to read electrical schematicsComfortable working in a multidisciplinary team (any overlapping experience is a plus)Skill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasksCommitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and serviceGood interpersonal skills and communication to interact with all levels of managementAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAbility to follow instructions and pay attention to small detailsPreferred ExperienceAble to work in a project start-up contextAble to see any complex system as a set of small subsystemsExperience in a technical support roleWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop operating systemsExperience working with PLCs and industrial controlsMechanical aptitudeStandards and/or certification experienceBenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceLife and AD&D insuranceShort and Long-Term Disability coverageBuy-up optionsEmployee assistance programGenerous paid time off (PTO) program#J-18808-Ljbffr
