This position will be available on a temporary basis through the end of April 2024Job SummaryProcesses outgoing gasket/bolt shipments. This includes pulling and packing orders. Operates forklift, saw, and gasket making equipment. Processes incoming stock and puts away in designated locations. Keeps shop clean. May perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.Job Duties and Responsibilities Packs and ships gaskets as requested by customer.Pull and pack orders for outgoing shipments.Process inbound transfers, UPS, FedEx, or any incoming freight to be received.Puts stock up on designated locations/shelving and maintains daily inventory.Performs daily jobs for gaskets and stud bolts required by clients.Assembles boxes for shipments and monitors any boxes staged and due but not shipped.Loads all trucks with outgoing freight.Keeps will call area organized and current.Cross-training required on all warehouse operations.Monitors propane tanks ensuring capacity is maintained and coordinates with supervisor to get tanks filled when necessary.Picks from location listed on pick ticket ensuring that length, diameter, and material are correct before packaging.Palletizes orders with more than 5 boxes.Advises sales of any shortages on online items.Marks each line item with box number and ensures line item corresponds to marking on the box or boxes.Maintains a neat and clean work environment; picks up any box packing and tears off box flaps as needed.Performs other tasks as required to meet on-time delivery of customer orders which may include any other warehouse function not listed above. Job SpecificationsSkills Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.Basic computer capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to work with a team. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Experience 1-3 years warehouse and shipping experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push/pull.Continuous standing and/or walking.Works frequently with weights of 10 - 50 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment including but not limited to cold, hot, and/or dusty conditions, as well as noisy environments. Compensation Pay rate for this position can range between $19.16/hr - $21.00/hr based on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
