Corner Property Management seeks a talented and motivated Assistant to join our dynamic Accounting team.As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the accounting department, acting as a liaison between the accounting team, internal departments, and external vendors. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills. You should be comfortable working with various software applications and have a proactive, solution-oriented approach to supporting the team's financial and administrative needs.In-office ScheduleKey Responsibilities:Assist the accounting team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document organization.Direct homeowners over the phone or email to set up payment.Prepare, verify, and process invoices and payment requests.Maintain accurate and organized records of financial documents, such as receipts, invoices, and statements.Demonstrate strong proficiency in company software and Microsoft Excel to facilitate smooth and efficient workflows.Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial reports and summaries.Prioritize the security of confidential information by utilizing encryption practices for document transmission.Answer and direct calls, emails, and other communications related to accounting queries to homeowners or vendors.Support the accounting team in special projects, audits, and end-of-month/quarter/year activities as needed.Correctly sort and distribute incoming mail to proper departments.RequirementsCustomer ServiceOrganizationAbility to adhere to deadlines.Teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to construct professional correspondence.Decision-making skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
