Material Handling Leader position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. You will Operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. You may utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
Qualifications What you will do:
- Train, instruct and direct work activities of employees
- Monitor and adapt processses and scheduling to accomplish manufacturing goals
- Function as a team leader by directing the work of others
- Fill-in when needed to ensure production goals are met
- Drive Safety and follow safety rules
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need:
- Complete understanding of the job, company policies and processes
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of complex tasks
- Familiarity with a broad variety of fields concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to operate specialized equipment that requires advanced skills
- Resourcefulness, independent judgment and a sense of leadership
- Ability to solve and identify complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity
- Influence and/or impact others' decisions or tasks
- 4-6+ years of related experience
