JOB DESCRIPTION:This is an AGENCY only search and open only to current employees to apply.Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center: This guest and conference facility combines the ambiance of an American folk art motif with contemporary comforts and conveniences.Many of the 323 guest rooms feature cypress paneling, hardwood floors and rocking chairs.Families and conference attendees appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms in the Tazewell Wing.The Senior Front Desk Attendant will a part of the Front Office Team which is the main connection between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments.Front Desk Attendants truly influence the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Welcome and fulfill the check-in process for Guests and group arrivals
- Complete the check-out process for departing guests using the hotel systems
- Manage, effectively and efficiently, Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints
- Maintain current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events
- Perform general incoming communication duties
- Assists with training Front Desk Attendants
The Senior Front Desk Attendant will engage with our Guests throughout the entire hospitality experience. The Senior Front Desk Attendant is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
- Execution of pre-arrival planning process
- Work directly with reservations agents to insure billing and room requirement fulfilled for VIP guests
- Input and follow up on guest requests

- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest
- Computer literate and able to navigate through computer systems
- Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
The most competitive candidates for these positions will generally have:
- Front Office experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or entertainment sectors
- Cash handling experience
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
