Job Description

Starting pay is up to $19.00 per hour depending on experience. We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible to:

* Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.

* Package finished product in various containers and apply labels

* Clean and maintain machine to TPM Standards

* Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities

* Weigh-Up Batches: Shift auto and manual steps. Follow process order of addition.

* Mix Batch: Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOP's

* Hockmeyer mill operation: Run and maintain optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards

* Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times

* Canning

* Operate the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift

* To act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data

* Complete scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures

* Help with repacks

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

* Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;

* Have 3 months of work related experience

* Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,

* Have attention to detail

* Be reliable to work assigned shift

* Be flexible to work overtime as required

* Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.

* Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.

* Have good attendance and punctuality

* Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

* Forklift experience, but we can train you

* Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
