Inside Sales / Customer Service Support Associate:Our company is a distinguished metal stamping enterprise located in Dundee, Michigan, specializing in the production of high-quality stamped metal products for the plumbing and solar industries. As a value-driven organization and places a strong emphasis on its workforce and cultivates a people-centric culture.We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and adaptable Inside Sales Associate who can effectively manage customer service responsibilities. This position is vital within our sales team, acting as the liaison between our production floor and clients. The ideal candidate will exhibit a proactive attitude, delivering exceptional inside sales and customer service support. We are in search of an individual dedicated to being an exemplary team member and a positive contributor. As our company experiences rapid growth, the ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient and quick-thinking problem solver.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:First point of contact for all customers via phone and email.Build and maintain strong customer relationships.Work cooperatively with our shipping and production teams to ensure customers receive high quality products in a timely manner.Ensure that shipment of finished goods satisfies both customer and company objectives.Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.Maintain weekly sales reports and report out to leadership team.Assists in multiple behind-the-scenes sales functions such as answering sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions, logging RFQ's, sending quotes, and following up open quotes.Communicate any changes in pricing or delivery dates to the customer in a timely fashion.Utilize our PLEX CRM to enter all purchase orders and stay up to date on all current and past due orders.Support our outside sales reps with any quotes, reports, and answer any questionsDevelop Inside Sales contacts, run reports, and organize visitsCollaborate with Sales Manager to accomplish department goals.What you will need to be successful:Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.Detailed oriented with excellent organization and time management skillsProficiency in CRM systemsStrong computer skills and knowledge of basic telephone technologyOpen to minimal travel (1-3 times annually) to customers sites, conventions, etc. Ability to perform physical demands such as walking on the plant floor and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs.Education and Requirements:1-3 years of inside sales and customer service experience required. Bachelor's degree required.
