Immediate PART TIME Opportunities for a PCA Personal Care Assistant in Katy, Texas. Candidates MUST be capable of working 2 weekends a month and completing 4 to 12-hour shifts as determined by the Staffing Coordinator. We are currently in search of PCA's with a background in providing direct care for the elderly. Responsibilities will entail aiding assigned clients with Activities of Daily Living, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, safe transfers in and out of various locations, ambulation, medication assistance, incontinence care, companionship, light housekeeping, and other delegated tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of full-time experience in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or home health care setting. Additionally, candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid Texas Driver's License, and a negative TB screening. Possession of Certified Nurse Aide certificates is considered advantageous.
