Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Wave Planner to join our team in San Bernardino, CA! This role is responsible for planning out the work to be completed each shift by viewing upcoming shipments and compiling shipment orders from the Transportation Management System team into work groups for the order selectors to pick.

What You Will Do:

  • Review upcoming work
  • Set work into obtainable work groups, re-prioritize when necessary
  • Assign and monitor the work of various warehouse personnel
  • Complete the waves in warehouse management system
  • Release orders based on pick-up time/date, order size, type, and complexity
  • Update the wave and loading dashboards
  • Ensure clear communication to picking and replenishment teams to ensure that operators understand which queue they are to be working in
  • Ensure loads are completed by pick-up time and reprioritize work to facilitate daily on-time shipments
  • Ensure a balance of work between work queues
  • TPM participation
  • Collaborate with logistics leads, supervisors, and fork truck operator staff to maintain proper warehouse flow.
  • Other duties as required and assigned

Position Details:

  • Plant location: San Bernardino, CA
  • Shift time: 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Compensation: $26.00 / hour ($1.00 / hour shift differential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, OR a High School Diploma and minimum of 3 years' work experience in a warehouse setting
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Physical Demands:  

  • Must be able to lift/carry 20lbs 
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
  • Experience in warehouse operations
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Lean Six Sigma training
  • Prior SAP experience
  • Experience leading and influencing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical acumen, problem solving and process design experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$26.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
